Return & Refund Policy

 
1. How long do I have to return items?
You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to return items that were ordered incorrectly or are no longer required.
To start a return, please email us at returns@stitchmate.co.uk with your order number and details of the items you wish to return.
Once approved, we’ll send you a returns form. Please email the completed form back to us and include a printed copy inside your parcel.
 
2. What are the costs involved in returning my order?
All returns must be approved before sending items back to us.
Please ensure items are returned within 30 days, in original condition, unworn, with all labels attached, and in the original packaging.
Items not in their original packaging may incur a minimum 30% restocking fee.
 
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer, and items remain your responsibility until they reach us. We strongly recommend using a tracked postal service.
 
3. Can you collect an item from me?
Yes, collections can be arranged with prior approval and must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order.
The collection charge is £8.00 + VAT per parcel.
 
4. How do I exchange an item?
For a quick and smooth exchange, simply place a new order for the item you want.
Then return the unwanted item to us. 
 
5. What if my product is faulty or incorrect?
If your order arrives faulty or incorrect, please contact us at returns@stitchmate.co.uk within 90 days of receiving your goods.
Depending on the quantity and nature of the issue, we may arrange a collection.
If a collection isn’t required, we may ask you to return the items and we will reimburse your postage costs. If postage isn’t shown, we’ll estimate the cost based on weight.
 
6. What items cannot be returned?
The following items can only be returned if they are faulty or incorrectly supplied:
  • Custom-made or personalised products
  • Non-faulty items returned after 30 days of receipt
7. What happens after I return my order?
Once we receive your return, please allow 7–10 working days for processing. A credit note will be issued once your return has been completed.
